Single Item Pickup and Delivery in Kent: 2026 Prices

Not every job needs a full removal crew. Sometimes it is one sofa from a showroom in Maidstone, a wardrobe bought on Facebook Marketplace in Gillingham, a washing machine going to a daughter's first flat in Chatham, or a piano that has to come down two flights of stairs in Rochester. That is single item work, and it is some of the most common work we do across Kent.

Every price includes two trained men, a clean van, blankets and straps, and goods in transit insurance. We do not send one driver and hope you can take the other end of the sofa. Two of our own crew handle the item at both ends.

What counts as a single item job

Sofas, armchairs, beds and mattresses, wardrobes, chests of drawers, dining tables, American fridge freezers, washing machines, treadmills, garden furniture and eBay, Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace purchases where the seller cannot deliver. If it needs two strong people and a proper van, it is our kind of job. How it works

Send us the item, the pickup postcode, the delivery postcode and a photo if you have one. We confirm a fixed price and a collection window, usually within a day or two, and often same week. The crew collects, wraps and straps the item, delivers it and places it in the room you want. If you are buying from a private seller, we can collect from them directly and you do not need to be there at pickup.

When a man and van makes more sense

If your list is more than three or four items, a small man and van booking is usually better value than pricing items individually, and a studio or 1 bed flat is nearly always cheaper as a small move than as a list of single items. How quickly can you collect?

Often within two or three days, and sometimes same day if a crew is in the right area. Tell us if it is urgent and we will be straight with you about the earliest slot.

Is my item insured?

Yes. Goods in transit insurance is included on every job, single items included, and everything is blanket wrapped and strapped for the journey.

Can you take an old item away?

If you are having a new sofa or appliance delivered, we can often take the old one to the tip or a charity shop on the same visit. Ask when you book.
